Simon Gill, Managing Director, Bayfield Galeota (aged 55)
Simon Gill, a Trinidadian national, holds a degree in Mathematics from Windsor University, Canada and has over 30 years of oil industry experience. He worked for Texaco for 24 years progressing from Production and Drilling Engineer to increasingly senior management positions in Trinidad, Angola, Nigeria and Houston culminating in his appointment as General Manager for Texaco North Buzachi, in Kazakhstan. In 2004, Simon joined Nelson Resources as COO and was also appointed CEO of its NYSE listed subsidiary, Chaparral Resources, and was responsible for five fields in Kazakhstan whose operated production increased from 30,000 to 60,000 bopd. Following the sale of Nelson Resources to Lukoil for US$2 billion, in 2005, he became Operations Director of Burren Energy with primary focus on the producing assets in Congo and Turkmenistan with gross production of 60,000 bopd.

Dino F. Giannatos, Operations Director
Dino Giannatos has degrees in Geology from the Hofstra and West Virginia Universities in 1978 and 1980, respectively. Dino has 29 years of oil industry experience having worked for Texaco and then Chevron between 1980 and 2007 in a variety of technical and management positions both in exploration and production in the USA, Portugal, Angola, Egypt , Nigeria and Khazakstan. As Assistant Manager for Texaco Angola in Block 2, Dino contributed to the increase of production from 65,000 to 120,000 bopd. As Field Manager for Texaco in the North Buzachi Field (Khazaklstan), Dino was responsible for the start-up of a new local company and increased production to10,000 bopd . In Nigeria between 2004 and 2007, Dino worked to restore production to over 120,000 bopd in a difficult working environment with no lost time incidents. Dino joined Burren in 2007 as General Manager Operations in Turkmenistan with a budget of $136 mm, over 1,000 employees and 24,000 bopd production.

Stefano Santoni, Exploration Manager
Stefano Santoni gained a degree in Geology from the University of Firenze, Italy, in 1977. Stefano has 31 years of oil industry experience having worked for many companies in various technical and management positions in many countries, including Italy, Libya, Egypt, Argentina, Brasil, USA and the UK. Among Stefano’s main achievements are the discovery of the Ashrafi field (the last 100 MMBO field discovered in the Gulf of Suez of Egypt) for Eni; the discovery of the Intisar E Reef field (90 MMBO) for Oxy in Libya; the discovery, appraisal and development of El Trapial field (475 MMBO) for San Jorge in Argentina raising the Company production from zero to 50,000 bopd in 5 years; the identification of the pre-salt carbonate play for Hess in their BM-S-22 block in Ultra-deep water Santos (Brasil); the capture of blocks WA-390-P and WA-404-P for Hess in deep-water Northern Carnarvon basin (Australia) where Hess has drilled to date 12 discoveries (85% success rate) with multi-TCF resources . Stefano joined Burren in 2007 as Exploration Manager focusing on high-grading the remaining exploration potential of Burren Congo assets and identifying High Impact New Venture opportunities.

Ian R. Bingham, Chief Geophysicist
Ian has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and a MSc/DIC in Exploration Geophysics from Imperial College, London. Ian has 30 year oil industry experience as an exploration and development geophysicist in various countries, including the UK, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Colombia and Turkey. Among Ian main achievements, is his involvement in the discoveries of Hamilton, Douglas, Lennox, West Franklin and West Elgin fields in the offshore UK for Ultramar. Following the merger with Lasmo, Ian worked in Indonesia as a 3D seismic interpretation specialist on major offshore /onshore gas production operations. Ian later joined Perenco and carried out a major re-evaluation of the Nimir/Hocol acreage portfolio in the Upper Magdalena valley of Colombia. Ian joined Burren in 2006 as Chief Geophysicist managing the geophysical activities of Burren’s worldwide portfolio.

Simon M. Moy, Reservoir Engineering Manager
Simon Moy has a MSc in Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering from the Imperial College, London, and a BSc and PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Kent at Canterbury. Simon has 15 years of oil industry experience having worked for British Gas and Centrica in the UK offshore before joining Burren in 2001. While at Centrica, Simon was the Senior Reservoir Engineer for the North and South Morecambe gas field, the latter being at the time the largest gas field in the UK. Simon was responsible for rebuilding the two simulation models of this field, incorporating the latest geological, production and PLT data. Simon joined Burren in 2001 and led the reserve review for the 2003 floatation on the London Stock Exchange, a responsibility that continued until Eni takeover of Burren in 2008. In 2007 Simon became Burren’s Reservoir Engineering Manager responsible for monitoring the reservoir performance of Burren’s fields in Turkmenistan and Congo, as well as data reviews in a number of new ventures.

Cecilia Odergren, Finance Director
Cecilia Odergren holds a degree in economics and business from Stockholm School of Economics. Cecilia has led an international career in financial management, treasury management , corporate governance and compliance covering Africa, South America and Asia. A certified internal auditor, Cecilia joined Bayfield in 2009. |

Michael Chvala, General Director – Astrakhan Gas and Oil Company
Michael Chvala is a graduate of the Grozny Petroleum Institute and is also qualified as a Mining Engineer. From 1983 to 2005 Michael worked in the drilling company of Gazprom on the Astrakhan Gas Condensate field progressing to senior management positions as Drilling Manager and Head of the Information Technology in support of drilling. From 2005 to 2010 Michael worked in the Government of the Astrakhan Region, where his position was Head of Management of Natural Resources at the Ministry of Industry and Natural Resources of Astrakhan.
